Diego Chacón

I’m Diego Chacón, a 3D Modeler & Texture Artist based in Costa Rica, specializing in hard-surface modeling, character work, texturing and look development for film, VFX and games. I’ve contributed to professional productions while continuing to develop personal work focused on strong design and production-ready detail. Available for remote opportunities and international collaborations.

A path built on craft, curiosity, and a refusal to settle.

Bachelor of Fine Arts

2009 – 2013

Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts

Focused on image theory, spatial composition, and print-based media. Final thesis explored the relationship between cinematic framing and still photography.

Junior CGI Artist

2014 – 2018

Monolith Studio

Worked across brand campaigns, product visualization, and architectural renders for clients in fashion, real estate, and technology across Scandinavia.

Senior CGI Artist & Art Director

2018 – 2021

Vela Creative

Led visual direction on campaign work for international brands. Responsible for CGI production, art direction, and client creative strategy across Europe and North America.
